REMOTE HELP FROM GEEK HELPLINE

Have a tech question?
Let’s find the next step.

  • Ask about computer and compatible device issues that may be handled remotely.
  • Understand the session, scope, and any charge before deciding.
  • If remote help is not a fit, we can discuss other service options where available.

Remote support is arranged directly with Geek Helpline. A session only begins after you understand and agree to the details.

A SAFE, CLEAR SESSION

Understand the steps
before connecting.

  1. Describe the issue. Tell us what device you use, what you see, and what you have already tried.
  2. Discuss whether remote help fits. Some issues need an in-person inspection or another specialist.
  3. Review the session details. We’ll explain the tool, what we may view or change, and any fee.
  4. Choose whether to proceed. We only start a session after you understand and agree.

Protect your information

  • Never share a password, one-time code, recovery code, or payment-card details.
  • Close personal or confidential files before a session.
  • Stay at your device and watch what is happening.
  • End the session if anything is unclear or uncomfortable.

Remote access should be time-limited and used only for the purpose you approved. If you are contacted unexpectedly by someone claiming to be Geek Helpline, hang up and call our published number to confirm.

No unattended access by default.

Any continuing or unattended access would require separate, explicit written terms. Do not install remote-access software based on an unsolicited call or pop-up.
